About Us

Formally known as Comfort Homes R Paroz Constructions, Comfort Homes (QLD) Pty Ltd has come a long way since its inception in 1985. A second generation, family run business, proudly Australian owned & debt free.

Comfort Homes was founded on old fashioned values such as honesty, integrity and respect. We take more care at every step of the process - that’s why we produce homes of the finest quality.

Comfort Homes was originally established on the Sunshine Coast and operated successfully for 22 years by multi award winning builders Russell and Yvonne Paroz. Upon their retirement, Ricky commenced operation of a new, more modern Comfort Homes in Bundaberg in 2007 - building top quality, functional & cost-effective homes at exceptional prices, with inclusions that other builders would consider an extra!

We provide ‘Fixed Price’ quotes with a full list of inclusions so our clients know exactly what their home will cost, before going to contracts or commencing construction. The price on your Comfort Homes quote is the final price you will pay. No hidden extras or nasty surprises, just one fixed price and the very best value for money, guaranteed.

Ricky has more than 30 years experience in the building industry - from basic trade exposure to site manager, project manager, company estimator, construction manager and design & construct manager. A QMBA Multi Housing & Construction Award winner, Ricky is not only the Builder but also the Supervisor & Leading Hand Carpenter on every project, there every day to ensure top quality at all stages of the build.

For the past 15 years Amanda has worked behind the scenes, capably balancing project administration and accounting, sales, quoting and contracts. Passionate about customer service with an eye for detail, she works directly with clients on plan designs, functionality, interior design and colour schemes.
